Now that the reconstruction of the houses has been completed, at least from a financial perspective, we would like to support the families with a view to the future by sustainably improving their livelihoods.

To achieve this, we would like to give all 32 families a young, healthy cow.

On the one hand, the milk offers you the opportunity to produce products that you can sell in the surrounding villages; On the other hand, it would also be healthy for the many children in the village to be able to consume more dairy products.

So we figured out how expensive a cow would be. In order to keep the price within reasonable limits, we would buy very young cows that will only be able to give birth in one or two years.

This idea came about in consultation with the village committee, which also regulated the local administration during the reconstruction.
