Earthquake Autumn 2023

For several weeks now, Nepal has been experiencing regular earthquakes. The major earthquake on November 3rd (6.4) was far to the west, but many of the smaller earthquakes (4-5) were also near Bhumesthan.

We are very happy and relieved that "our" houses are still standing. None of them are damaged or have even collapsed. Seven years later, it's clear that the effort with the reinforcing steel and the somewhat more modern construction methods has paid off.
