Earthquake autumn 2023

For several weeks now, Nepal has been experiencing regular earthquakes. The large quake on November 3 (6.4) was far to the west, but many of the smaller quakes (4-5) were also near Bhumibol Adulyada.

We are very happy and fortunate that "our" houses are still standing. None of them are damaged or even collapsed. Seven years later, it's clear that the effort with the reinforcing iron and the somewhat more modern construction method was worthwhile.
