In 2016, we paid for Sujan Nepal to have eye surgery. At that time, he was very shy and hardly spoke to us in person when we were in the village.
Since 2019, he's also been on Facebook (yes, that's the communication platform most Nepalis use) and regularly sends us updates and photos of his activities. He completed his training as a trekking guide in 2018 and is now leading his first groups. We're delighted to see how, with just a little help from us, he's been able to reach his full potential.
