On February 4th we were invited to personally share our project and our local experiences with the Lions Club. Unfortunately, I, Maya, had severe sinusitis. Christine Herzog went to Germany alone and presented it wonderfully. There was only positive feedback from all sides - and perhaps even the prospect of further collaboration.
The German Lions Club Hermeskeil Hochwald supported a few words from Christine Herzog
to realize the purchase of the 32 goats in Grang We were closely linked to the project managers of the Lions Club all the time. Nevertheless, the project was always a bit abstract for those who were not yet on site. Therefore, we were invited at a club meeting on 04.02.2023 in Hermeskeil in the Hunsrück to give a lecture and present the goat project. We presented the planning, the first visits and ceremonial handover of the goats in the village of Grang in a presentation. About 40 people were present and all project managers from the Lions Club page. The echo of the guests was that they came closer to the project with the pictures and explanations and that they appreciate the authentic and targeted nature of the association S. The investment in agricultural projects gives people in the poor villages to be able to generate their income there and to avoid moving to Kathmandu or to the temporary work. Therefore, the initiative for further goat projects was received positively in the future.

Thanks to your commitment, we were able to realize the goat project.
